The uP8806P/Q is an ultra low noise, fast response, highpower supply rejection ratio (PSRR) low dropout regulatorspecifically designed to continuously deliver up to 300mAoutput current. Designed with a P-channel MOSFET seriespass transistor, the uP8806P/Q yields extremely low dropoutvoltage (e.g. 300mV at 300mA).

The uP8806P/Q does not require a bypass capacitor, henceachieving the smallest PCB area. This device reducesoutput voltage noise under 70uV(RMS) and improves PSRRto 40dB at 100kHz.

The uP8806P/Q is designed and optimized to work withlow-value, low-cost ceramic capacitors. Only a 1uF ceramicoutput capacitor is required for stable operation for any loadconditions.

Other features include foldback overcurrent protection, quicksoft start, and overtemperature protection. The uP8806P/Q is available in fixed output voltage from 0.8V to 4.75Vwith 0.1V per step. The device comes in (T)SOT23-3L/5L,SOT223-3L, SOT89-3L and TO252-3L packages.
