The uP9614 is a high-efficiency, single synchronous buckconverter with an internal power switch. With internal lowRDS(ON) switches, the high-efficiency buck converter iscapable of delivering up to 7A output current for chargerinterface. The proprietary RCOTTM technology provides fasttransient response and high noise immunity. When thereis a ripple injection circuit, it can support ceramic andOSCON output capacitors for low ESR application. Thiscombination is ideal for building modern low duty ratio,untra-fast load step response DC-DC converters. The outputvoltage ranges from 2.9V to12V, and the conversion inputvoltage ranges is from 10.8V to 30V. The quasi-constantswitching frequency is 100kHz. RCOTTM control tracks the100kHz switching frequency over a wide range of input andoutput voltages, while it increases the switching frequencyat step-up of load.

The strong gate drivers of the uP9614 allow low RDS(ON) FETs for highcurrent applications. It is available in a spacesaving WQFN4x4-32L package.
