The MCP33141-05 12-bitAnalog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) features a single-ended input, highperformance and low power consumption in a small package, making it ideal forbattery powered systems and remote data acquisition applications. TheMCP33141-05 features a successive approximation register (SAR) architecture andan industry-standard SPI serial interface, allowing 12-bit ADC capability to beadded to any PIC? microcontroller. The MCP33141-05 features 500ksamples/second, 1 input channel, low power consumption (1.5μA typical standbycurrent, 0.33mA typical active current), and is available in 10 pin MSOP and 10pin TDFN. Applications for the MCP33141-05 include high-precision dataacquisition, medical instrumentation, motor control applications, electricvehicle battery management systems, battery operated applications, switch-modepower supply applications. MCP33141-05 is fully automotive qualified (AEC-Q100)and specified for operation between -40 and 125 degrees Celsius. This ADC isdesigned to operate in both high-temperature and electromagnetic environmentsand to meet the rigorous and harsh demands of the automotive and industrial environment.
