This family of touchscreen controller brings Microchip’s unmatched Adaptive Sensing technology to the industrial market. It enables dynamic touch classification, a feature that automatically and intelligently switches between self-capacitance and mutual-capacitance sensing to provide users a seamless transition between a finger touch and thick glove touch. Adaptive Sensing is also highly resistant to moisture.? Proprietary differential touch sensing delivers unparalleled noise immunity ensuring superior touch performance even in harsh environments, and with a thick cover lens.

Microchip’s new signal shaping technology is lowering emissions significantly and ensures that large touchscreen solutions based on the ATMXT2952TD meet customer requirements for electromagnetic interference.
