The uP1514R is a compact synchronous-rectified buckcontroller specifically designed to operate from 5V or 12Vsupply voltage and to deliver high quality output voltageas low as 0.8V. This 8-pin device operates at fixed 300kHzfrequency and provides an optimal level of integration toreduce size and cost of the power supply.

The uP1514R integrates MOSFET drivers that support12V+12V bootstrapped voltage for high efficiency powerconversion. The bootstrap diode is built-in to simplify thecircuit design and minimize external part count.

Besides, an OCP/EN is used for chip disable andcontinuous setting of over current protection level.

Other features include under voltage lockout (UVLO),internal softstart, under voltage protection, over voltageprotection. With aforementioned functions, this partprovides customers a compact, high efficiency, wellprotectedand cost-effective solutions. This part is availablein SOP - 8L or PSOP - 8L packages.
