The SCH3224 is a 3.3V Super I/O Controller with an LPCinterface. It includes Keyboard Controller, Hardware Monitoring capabilities,Power Control logic, and Motherboard Glue logic.? The device provides aparallel port, 4 full serial ports and the option for?two additional 4-Pinserial ports.?The serial ports are fully functional NS16550 compatibleUARTs that support data rates up to 1.5 Mbps.??Hardware Monitoring capability has programmable,automatic fan control.?Three fan tachometer inputs and three pulse widthmodulator (PWM) fan control outputs are available.?In addition, HWM includestemperature, voltage and fan speed monitoring.?
