The MIFARE SAM AV3 (secure access module) now in its third generation is designed for flexible performance, secures access keys and protect assets. It offers built-in supportfor MIFARE ICs and NXP’s “DNA” range of products from the NTAG?, ICODE?, and UCODE? families - optimized for use with product types in these families that offer TransactionMessage Authentication Codes (TMACs). It is an ideal security add-on for embedded systems consumer devices reader and POS terminals, toll gates, and door locks.
Enhancing cryptographic performance in devicesThe MIFARE SAM AV3 raises the bar on flexibility by supporting programmable logic, too, so you can integrate a proprietary algorithm for key diversification or implement a fullbusiness flow that executes with just one call. The optional programmable logic feature also allows you to develop your own code while reusing the intrinsic cryptographicfunctions. To simplify the development of customized logic, NXP? partners offer code development and other services tailored to the MIFARE SAM AV3.
