The Peripheral Direct Memory Access (PDMA) controller transfers data between peripherals and memories without processor involvement, drastically reducing processing overhead with large continuous data streams between MCU modules.The power manager improves design flexibility and security: the on-chip brown-out detector monitors the power supply, the CPU is run by the on-chip RC oscillator or one of external oscillator sources, and the Real-Time Clock (RTC) and its associated timer track time. The AT32UC3B0512AU is the Audio version of the AT32UC3B0512. It allows the execution of Microchip licensed Audio firmware IPs.
