描述 Description

The AS1320 is gear tooth sensor IC for use inautomotive ABS sensing. AS1320 is used with a bias magnetic south facing theback (no mark) side of the IC. The technology used for the IC is hall-effectbased. The chip incorporate hall-effect plate, an A/D converter with self-calibratesthe internal gain of the device to adjust the air-gap variations. And digitalsample and hold circuit, Schmitt trigger and the open drain output with shortcircuit protected.
As the gear tooth rotate, the chip samples an inincreasing or decreasing flux density. When the flux has reached its minimumvalue and increased hysteresis flux, the output will turn on (BOP). When theflux has reached its maximum value and decreased hysteresis flux, the outputwill turn off (BRP). The AS1320 uses a single Hallplate which is immune to rotary alignment problems. The bias magnet can be detectedfrom 1000GS to 4000Gs.
The AS1320 is a sophisticated IC featuring an on-chip12-bit A/D Converter and logic that acts as a digital sample and hold circuit.A separate 6-bit D/A converter provides a fixed hysteresis. The AS1320 does nothave a chopper delay.
The device is available in SIP-4L Package and is rated over the -40°C to 150°C. The package is RoHScompliant. ?
